The September 2017 Elk Research and Management Committee meeting is scheduled for Monday, September 18th, 6:00 p.m., at the US Forest Service Conference Center behind the main forest service office at 902 SE North Bend Way, North Bend, WA 98045. It is the first right going north on Thrasher behind the main office. Everyone is welcome and we hope to have a good turnout, please attend.

SNOQUALMIE VALLEY FAMILY NATURE CLUB JAMBOREE

Free event full of fun, educational and creative outdoor experiences for the entire family. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day with participating organizations including Carnation Farms, Compass Outdoor Adventures, Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Society, Waskowitz Outdoor School, PSE, Mountains To Sound Greenway Trust, and many others.
We share our collaring videos and expertise with participating families, discuss the work USVEMG does, and educate people of all ages on our local elk and elk in general. Any info you need to do this volunteer work is provided. Water is provided as well. Last year, a food truck showed up with coffee, too!!

SAT 9:30am to 8pm
SUN 9:30pm to 4:00pm
Booth tear down 4:00pm usually takes an hour
Information booth at Upper Snoqualmie Valley's largest festival over 3 days. Typical small town festival with booths, parade and car show, entertainment and family fun, lots of great food, as well.
Master Hunters receive credit towards re-certification for volunteering for either of these events.
