The Education and Outreach committee educates the community about the local elk herd, elk management concepts, and the Elk Management Group. Their goal is to help the public minimizing conflict with elk, and learn how to live with wildlife in close proximity. They are also the primary recruiters for new members and volunteers. The committee participates in a number of local events including:
- School events/field trips
- Local weekend programs by organizations in the community
